Unified Carrier Registration
FS-E-01313
The Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) is a federally-regulated registration number that is required for many motor carriers. This fee is paid each calendar year (Jan.-Dec.) and is based on the number of vehicles you have.
Who Needs a UCR?
Every motor carrier who crosses state lines must purchase a UCR each year if:
- You have your authority for hire OR
- You are a private property carrier
Before You Purchase
Before you submit your UCR order, please verify the following:
- That you haven't already purchased a UCR for the year selected
- That you have a UCR on file for the previous year if you were operating as an interstate motor carrier during that time. If you don't have a UCR on file for that year, check the 2024 and 2025 box below to be in compliance.
This website is not affiliated with the Unified Carrier Registration Plan. This website is operated by a private company that provides a private registration service for an additional fee. You are not required to use this site to register with the UCR Plan. You may register directly with the UCR Plan at www.ucr.gov.
